Computers that join the network weeks or months later automatically receive the necessary updates and patches without administrator intervention.

System administrators can use unattended installs to quickly and reliably package and distribute server-based applications to Windows® servers running Windows Terminal Services or Citrix MetaFrame®. With Prism Deploy 5.0, new servers can be added more efficiently than ever before.

• Obtain complete control over deployments with advanced scheduling options. Prism Deploy makes any software self-healing. Administrators can set up a task to recur at regular intervals, like daily or weekly, or with certain events, like login or startup. Administrators also have the option to schedule tasks for after hours, requiring no user intervention.

• Automate the most complicated tasks in complex environments. The Prism Deploy configuration-based scripting language provides direct, instant access to the hardware, software and network configurations of target computers. With this technology, advanced Installation Rules can also be built into a package. These features give administrators complete control over even the most complicated tasks.

• Receive full Windows Installer support. Prism Deploy can create .MSI installations for legacy applications. Through a partnership with InstallShield®, Prism Deploy also includes the InstallShield Developer™ and Tuner™ products. Administrators can now create and edit Microsoft Installer (MSI) files and Microsoft Transform (MST) files. Prism Deploy can package, edit, customize and deploy any type of file format, making it the most comprehensive software deployment solution on the market.
